A shared table

The same picture. The same pieces. A little help from someone else.

Multiplayer is cooperative: everyone works on the same puzzle. You do not need a multiplayer profile for ordinary single-player puzzles.

Choose a username

Before using online play, register a unique username. No Facebook login or password is required. The game keeps a private profile on this device and gives you an eight-character recovery code.

Keep the recovery code somewhere private. Use it with your username to recover the profile on another device. A used code is replaced with a new one. Do not put recovery codes in public screenshots or send them with routine support requests.

Invite someone to your puzzle

  1. Start or resume a local puzzle.
  2. Open the in-game multiplayer access controls from the play menu.
  3. Choose invite-only play and invite the other player by their registered username. You can also make a table open to join requests.
  4. When a player requests to join, approve or reject the request. An invitation still requires host approval.

The shared game begins from your current progress, not an empty copy of the picture. You can close it to new join requests without changing the pieces already placed.

Join a table

Use the invitation or online game list, then request to join. Wait for the host to allow you in. Both players should use the same current game version, especially after updates to piece shapes or placement rules.

Previously invited players and people you have played with are remembered for future invitations. This is game history, not a connection to your device address book.

Share the pieces

Only one person can hold a particular piece at a time. You will see the other player's movement and colour indication. When they release or place it, the result appears on your table too.

Completing the border switches off Edge mode for everyone. Finishing the puzzle completes the shared table.

Leaving and reconnecting

Online play needs a connection. If a connection drops, wait for the game to reconnect or return through the multiplayer game list. A joined table does not create a separate ordinary local puzzle when you leave.

Do not treat multiplayer as a backup of all your single-player saves. Local puzzles and server-hosted tables have different storage. If an invite is not arriving, check the exact username, network connection, host approval, and that both apps are up to date.
