Make a card
- Complete a puzzle and open its greeting editor.
- Write your message and signature. Choose a font, a strong text colour, and a frame. Adjust the text position and size to suit the picture. Draft edits save automatically.
- Choose Send puzzle link.
- Read the upload notice and confirm Upload and share. This sends a copy of the picture and message to our greeting server.
- Choose a messaging or email app from your device's share sheet. On a computer, the game copies the link to the clipboard.
You can share the link using the apps you already use. There is no need to connect a social-media account to The Jigsaw Table.
Receive a card
- Open the link the sender shared.
- If the game is installed and app links are enabled, it opens the card. Otherwise, use the installation page.
- After installing, return to the original message and tap the link again. If necessary, use Open puzzle card on the page, or paste the link into Library > Puzzle cards > Open card.
- Put together the 12-piece puzzle. It uses Easy mode without rotation.
- The greeting appears when the puzzle is complete. Use Read message for longer text.
Share thoughtfully
A card link is private, but it is not tied to one recipient. Anyone with the link can open the card, including someone it is forwarded to. Only send messages you have permission to share.
Cards use pictures from the game catalogue. Sending a puzzle link uploads the selected picture and your greeting after you confirm. The public link page does not display your picture, name, or private message.
Keep it, or stop sharing it
Downloaded cards and puzzle progress are saved in the recipient's Puzzle cards inbox. They can be reopened offline after the download. Cards do not depend on a multiplayer account.
Sent links last one year. To prevent new downloads earlier, open your sent cards and choose Stop sharing. This removes the hosted picture and message. It cannot remove copies already downloaded to another device or shared outside the game.
Deleting a received card removes your local copy; it does not revoke the sender's link. Deleting a greeting draft is also different from stopping a hosted link.
If a card will not open
Check your connection and use the complete link. Update the game. An expired or revoked link can no longer be downloaded, although an already-cached copy can still work.
If the Android share sheet says no apps can perform the action, no compatible sharing app is installed. Opening a share sheet is not proof that a message was sent. The game currently does not receive a reliable delivery result from that sheet.
You can report a problematic received card in the game. For anything else, contact support without posting the card link publicly.
